2017 Hyundai Santa Fe Sport
Mileage80,969Service Date9/12/2025Services Performed- Test OBDII system for fault codes. Code p0304 cylinder 4 misfire. Checked connections or broken wires. checked spark plugs. Found that cylinder 4 spark plug was wet with oil and has carbon build up on it. checked to make sure the valve cover gasket/tube seal gasket was not leaking. Checked the PCV valve, Pcv valve is working as it should. Put a scope down into cylinder 4 to check for carbon buildup. found that cylinder 4 has a lot of carbon build up and soaked with oil on top of the piston. Recommend replacing the rings and piston for fix.
